Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
The Conference Planning Committee has arranged for accommodations at the University of British Columbia’s Marine View Residence. This residence consists of apartment-style units each with 4 private bedrooms with single bed, telephone and clock radio. Guests share two washroooms, lounge area and kitchenette (not equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, etc.). Rate is $53.00 per guestroom, per night, plus applicable taxes. For those particpants who have limited mobility, there are a small number of accommodations available at the Carey Centre, which is located a short distance from the conference location. Guestrooms are fully-furnished with single or queen beds and with private bathroom. Rate is $75.00 per guestroom, per night, plus applicable taxes. Parking is $5.00 per night. Linens and towel are provided. Local phone calls and internet access is free.
