Restored to the period of Lieutenant Governor Amédée Forget (1898-1910), Government House museum gives you a glimpse of life at Government House at the turn of the 20th century

Visit the permanent gallery and the temporary exhibit “To Make Smoke”.  This is the second project in the MacKenzie Art Gallery’s new NEXT series. Realized with support from RBC, this series will support new solo projects by early-career artists based in the prairies. Featuring recent work by Treaty 4-based artist Audie Murray, this exhibition revaluates preconceived notions about Indigenous art practices and the transfer of knowledge. To Make Smoke will offer a fresh perspective on the sensitivity and curiosity the artist brings to her understanding of land

Do you know that Regina is home to the Depot Division training academy?  Tour the barracks and training facility and/or visit our galleries to explore over a century of RCMP history, from the formation of the North-West Mounted Police in 1873, to the modern-day Mountie. Guests of the RCMP Heritage Centre can experience both the historical and modern-day stories of the RCMP through a variety of traditional and informative exhibits, virtual and augmented reality experiences, and live events.

Visitors are encouraged to park in the spots on Walter Scott Way, and enjoy a walk through the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II Gardens to get to the Legislative Building. Visitors requiring accessible options can park along Memorial Way and use the main sidewalk to the Legislative Building. Building tours are available upon request.
